Tue, 3 April 2007 Episode 4 - Venedig: Live Session Report In this episode we deal with cats, various technical difficulties, and oh yeah, we play Venedig on BSW.  We discuss the rules in depth and tactical situations as they arise in game. Fun episode, despite the technical issues - too bad Gerald couldn't join you for more game commentary during Venedig.

I wish I coulda' been there with y'all, but I'm almost recovered from my surgery now, and looking forward to picking up the mic again for the next episode!

Is it just me or are some of the game names in grey and some in black? (Or are my eyes just going bad?) Is this your new way of indicating which games were only briefly mentioned? I liked the asterisk system a lot better.

Yes, gray games are only mentioned briefly. They are supposed to be in italics also, but we were having a tough time with the text editor on libsyn, so it's not perfect.

We can certainly go back to asterisks.

Besides the fact that the grey and black look almost the same, my concern is just that different web browsers may display formatting differently, so a plain text way of distinguishing the difference is much appreciated. Love the show, keep up the good work!

I dislike the asterisks because they draw attention to the name rather than subdue it--even with a legend--which is why I changed it. We could use a more distinct color. I think the only good text solution is to use parentheses.
